The Twilight Hours: 2 - 6am

The Secret Garden Party is as free as possible but we do have neighbours. Some live very close to the Garden and are troubled by the 5am cries of ‘rewind’ in the dance arenas. For 2008 they wanted a bit more peace and so did we (sort of). Between 2am and 6am we felt something different was required during the twilight hours.

Imagine Absinthe Emporiums that only open at midnight and close at 8am; sound-proofed discos buried deep in circus tents; beautiful unplugged jam sessions in Indian Marquees; huge VJ arenas with long, elegant bars; poetry slams in Centre Camp; wild moon-light dances at The Feast of Fools; extraordinary film showings...

…rather than just DJ’s we thought The Garden deserved a pre-dawn medley of the most diverse arts programming possible. But rest assured the music will not stop and the party will continue.
