Stages

Where the Wild Things Are

Been mischief making and sent to bed without any supper? Head to the Wild Things stage and become the King (or Queen) of the Wild Things amongst the other dirty beasts...A stage for the broken beautiful, darkly joyful and twisted hopefuls. Music with love, soul, filth, intimacy and suspect intentions…

Magnificent Revolution (MR) is collective of artist, musicians, designers, eco builders, ecologists, engineers and freaks. They all try to address their addiction to fossil fuels in creative ways and ditch all things for profit. MR wean themselves of the fossil fuel drip via the revolution of the bicycle wheel, always suspicious of the norm. It's not perfect, its not shiny but they try their best. This is why 12 of their crew will cycle the 22 miles from their base in Cambridge with 10 trailers caring most of the gear they'll need for the 2008 Secret Garden Party.

MR care about creativity, critical thought and participation and that is exactly what they offer at Where the Wild Things Are on Friday and Saturday starting at 2am. MR will create a space where people can get on bikes and generate electricity for films, VJs and of course the odd game scalextrics at dawn. They will also create an area where people can cut their ties with grown up existence and get down and dirty playing some games, be it twister or grandmas footsteps, make their own D.I.Y revolutionary signs, get misquoted or explore the interconnectedness of all things on earth. Expect all of the above and lot more weird and surreal secrets about the revolution.
