Dream and Design your own Action Camp

Action Camps: the Final Frontier. Spaces where all can come and embrace in essential activity, from chasing glory in the Dance/Off ring to holding each other tight in giant nests. Click here for further information and inspiration (this needs to be linked to the ‘Action Camps’ header).

If you have an idea for an Action Camp, we can help make it happen. So if you have always wanted to paint everyone purple, now is your moment. We will offer financial help, production help and advice to those ideas that are full of spirit and just-about feasible.

Anyone and everyone who has the passion to see it through

When should your camps be open?

This is up to you, however we would suggest 4 hours a day as a starting point. It depends on your ideas and what you would like to provide for the Garden.

The criteria we will use when deciding upon which idea to support and fund are:

- How original we feel the idea is. As a hint, plans involving DJ's/bands are fairly old hat.

- How participatory the space/venue/project will be. We want to engage and involve as many people as possible.

- How much we like it based on quirkiness/perversity/stupidity

Things to Remember:

- Your action camp can be a one off event over the weekend or a small venue
- This is your festival so make sure you are enjoying every moment of it...
- Secret Garden is about giving, and making everyone feel at home.
