This year Kids Camp is going to be bigger and better than ever. There will be a whole range of exciting and creative workshops to get involved in and keep the little artists of the festival busy.

Although we are all big kids really, we appreciate that bringing kids to a festival is a potentially stressful experience. Fear not! Our family area is both designed to keep the kids entertained while you explore, and for you to engage in creative activities with them.

The Doodle Den

Go crayon-crazy in the Doodle Den where you can scribble and giggle, draw and doodle over everything including the floors, tables and chairs. We will be encouraging the children to think in different ways and see how doodling can be an expressive and creative art form.

The Young Revolutionary's Parade

There will be a number of artistic workshops held in the doodle den that let the kids turn themselves into a walking art work ready for the Parade on Saturday. From mask making to head-dress decorating and jewelry making to face painting, we want the kids to be the creative future they inescapably represent.

Fashion Show

We will also be holding a Tee-shirt designing and decorating workshop so they can express themselves with their clothing. This will be followed by a mini fashion show with live music and prizes to be won.

Stitch it like Granny

Come and get crafty with our 'Stitch it like Granny' workshop where we will be reinventing traditional techniques such as sewing and knitting to create cute little sock monkeys, monsters and puppets.

Tea Potty Shed

Next get your new little friend dressed in their best and pay a visit to the 'Tea Potty Shed.'

"Once upon a time two tea potty ladies dreamed up an idea to entertain folk in the summer months. Very early in the morning while the world was still sleeping, the tea potty shed ladies got out their little shed, blankets, bunting and buns. When the people awoke they were invited to take a step back in time into the tea potty ladies vintage world and decorate fairy cakes, sip lemonade from teacups and picnic on the grass. How marvellous"!

Pizza Baking

We will also be having a Pizza Baking competition where the kids get crazy in the kitchen and learn to make and invent their own pizza topping...yummy!

Hush Hush Hideaway

If the excitement all gets a bit too much the little ones can escape to the 'Hush Hush Hideaway' where tired eyes and minds can rest and listen to music, read books or watch cartoons all snuggled up with a cup of cocoa and piles of cosy blankets and cushions.

Secret Adventure Walks

As we want the kids to have just as much fun as their parents at the festival we have organized some Secret Adventure walks around the festival early in the morning so they can see some of the other exciting things going on. We will be getting some special kids only time on some of the events at the festival including an adventure on the pirates ship..why should the adults have all the fun?!

Disco and DJ Duplo

And if that's not enough we will be throwing our very own children's Disco back at the tent on Saturday night with DJ Duplo on the decks. Expect fancy dress, crazy dancing and loads of games and prizes plus some secret special guests.
