Action Figure Camp

The only Camp capable of creating Super Heoes. Join us at Action Figure Camp once again as we take off your clothes, paint your body blue and ascibe you superpowers. Capes, pants and terrifying missions provided...

The Bad Advice Bears

We discovered them at The Burn. We bought them to The Garden. They've clearly been busy at Bear Sterns. Find them roaming the fields during the twilight hours this Summer. Relationship troubles, family matters, career direction, tax advice - track them down and get all the answers you need.

Camp Vegas

"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro"
In homage to the Good Doctor, Camp Vegas debuts at The Secret Garden Party with all the delights of the American Dream. Roulette wheels, daily screenings of Fear & Loathing, strip poker and Wild Turkey whisky. Enter on Thursday, leave on Sunday.

Fire Camp

Presented by Fireworks, Fire Camp will be operating workshops to either develop or master your skills. In 2007 over 40 Gardeners took part in the Saturday Burn, spinning,juggling and breathing fire. All their skills were developed at Fire Camp over the course of the weekend. In 2008 we are aiming for a hundered.

Science Camp

Inside a 40ft military tent, hosted by an Oxford-educated, beautiful bi-sexual Marine-gone-wrong, Science Camp unravels the mysteries of the Universe through lectures, experiements, poetry and intoxicants. As the host always says, "come with questions...leave in tears". See you there.

This year the scientific community of the Garden Party are coming together to explore the very fringe of human knowledge. We are providing a platform for acknowleged pre-eminent scientists and thinkers to inform and interact. Our aim is to drive public understanding of science in an accessible environment, by delivering a weekend of fascinating interactive events.

Areas of specialism will include experts in the fields of quantum mechanics and string theory to bio-gerontology and artificial intelligence, as well as artists of sound and vision.

Explore the sky, both at day and night with our team of astronomers and their digital telescopes. You will be guided through the solar system by first-hand knowledge from the Royal Society of Astronomy in conjunction with a visual spectacle in the Geodesic dome of the Sunworshippers.

If you have ever wondered about naturally occurring psychadelic plantlife, then come to Guerilla Science to have all of your questions answered. Consciousness will be explored, brainwaves will be explained. By your very attendance at the festival you will be part of a large psychological experiment under the auspices of Goldsmiths University. Lucid dreaming and Out-of-body-experiences are likely. You will leave with more than you bring. Guerilla Science is where science is at.
